Forrisi Farm
We provide day old chicks and hatching eggs. We cater to backyard chicken enthusiasts and enjoy sharing these amazing birds! We breed true Blue, Black and Splash Ameraucanas and we breed to the Standard Of Perfection (SOP). We are also offering Blue Laced Red Wyandottes, Black Copper Marnas, Splash & Blue Easter Eggers and Olive Eggers on a small scale. We also know there are many chicken keepers that appreciate a beautiful array of egg colors so we have an option for Assorted Rainbow eggs and chicks.
Day Old Chicks & Hatching Eggs
Below is a list of breeds that will be available. Please note, all our chicks are sold straight run. We will occasionally sell started pullets (females) but all of our chicks will not be sexed. Unfortunately, to preserve the health of our personal flock and breeding pens we practice strict biosecurity and we can not take back any chicks or chickens.

Blue, Black & Splash (BBS) Ameraucanas
A true Ameraucana is a large fowl chicken breed recognized by the American Poultry Association. This purebred breed is known for being the blue egg laying chicken since they carry two copies of the blue egg laying gene. They have beards, muffs and pea combs and are a fantastic breed to have! They’re personalities are sweet, friendly and inquisitive. They are also very cold-hardy because of their plumage along with the small size of their combs and wattles.
At Forrisi Farm we are members of the American Poultry Association (APA) and the Ameraucana Breeders Club (ABC). Our breeding program is focused on producing healthy, prolific birds while breeding toward the Standard Of Perfection (SOP). We also greatly focus on producing birds with great temperaments. Our Blue, Black and Splash Ameraucanas are our main focus.

All orders are shipped USPS Priority.
The way our breeding pens are set up you have the potential to hatch Blue, Black or Splash.

Rainbow Assortment
Who doesn’t love a colorful egg basket? Instead of choosing just one breed we are offering our Rainbow Assortment which will contain eggs from our Ameraucanas, Black Copper Marans, Blue & Splash Easter Eggers, Olive Eggers and/or our Blue Laced Red Wyandottes. It will be an assortment of whichever eggs we have available at the time of order. If you are local, we may also have a Rainbow Assortment of chicks.
